Transition Malvern Hills and Colwall Greener have, through Colwall Car Club, managed to secure an Electric Smart Car on a one year lease at a reduced rate, as part of a Government funded scheme to log patterns of use and recharging.

Colwall Car Club want to provide residents of the Colwall and Malvern area with the opportunity to trial an Electric Car for a day

By becoming a member for a month (£5) the Car Club can insure any driver over 25 with a good driving record to use the car. We plan to charge £25 for a day use (8am to midnight), the car would be fully charged with a range of 80 miles. The one month’s membership fee would also allow use of any of the clubs 4 other cars at the normal members rates.

The start of a Transport Group?

At the Open Space event last week we formed a discussion group around transport and one of the things that we decided was to form a transport group. Please let me know if you would still like to be involved with this and if so please can you let me have some dates when you are available to meet from 12 July.
