Sharing your stuff around the neighbourhood

This sounds like something of interest - lending ladders, sharing sugar, community creation (all out of alliteration). A website called StreetBank "allows you to enjoy all the things within 1000 yards that your neighbours are willing to share". Assuming enough of them sign up of course.

Radio and television, online, shows

Update on Transition Malvern Hills Waste Group

This Group has met twice and agreed that its main objectives are to:

Vegetable Oil

As you will all have gathered by now I'm bursting with ideas and don't want to put them all forward at once as it will just confuse things.
Howver, there is a guy on Freecycle asking for vegetable oil so he can refine it (or whatever) and use it in his truck.  Is this a transition sensitive/ eco friendly thing to do?  If so maybe we could save our used oil and get it too him some how.  Maybe it's better than it going to waste.
