Registering as a website user

Due to a high level of dubious sign-ups, we've currently switched off the ability to register yourself as a site user. We'll probably switch it back on fairly soon, but in the meantime you can use the General Feedback category in the Contact form to ask to be set up.
You don't need to be registered to post a reply to a topic in the discussion area, or add a comment elsewhere, although we'll need to approve it before it appears for others to see.

Topics in the discussion area

Items which appear in the discussion area have been added by a range of people who have expressed interest in ideas behind Transition Towns. Transition Malvern Hills does not expressly or implicity necessarily support all of the content added in this way but wants to provide as open a forum as possible. And is likely to support most of the material.

Transition MH on Facebook

There's now a Facebook group for Transition Malvern Hills. This doesn't replace the discussion forum here but is another way of contacting new people, and existing members too.
Note to others adding content to this site - the Updates section has a news feed (RSS) facility, so do use it to highlight new stuff! (The discussion forum has a feed too.)

Neighbourhood groups.

I'm wondering how on earth  to make this huge issue manageable...

I keep coming back to imagining a scenario with very scarce oil and limited energy availability.  In that situation people have to do whatever they can in their own local neighbourhoods.

Your chance to contribute to the website

There have been a few suggestions on using the website for communication between people involved in the initiative, for example to arrange lift sharing to events or to suggest useful links, DVDs etc. So:
- Once signed up you can now add information to your profile on interests and skills.
- You can allow others to contact you directly by enabling the Contact form (only available to those signed up, and it doesn't expose your email address to spammers).
