Gas lamps get the Transition treatment
See the new Transition Lighting Group page for how we are tackling the hotly discussed issue of cost (environment as well as money) of the historical gas lamps.
The group has been working for the last five months surveying the lamps, researching the subject, developing and testing hardware, and interacting with international experts to achieve the optimum results.
Following the first public presentation of the group's solution there has been various news coverage, including BBC Hereford and Worcester, BBC Midlands Today and Malvern Gazette. You'll find it all featured on the gas lamps page.
Events

The BIG question (from Transition Towns site via Tring) “For all those aspects of life that this community needs in order to sustain itself and thrive, how do we significantly increase resilience (to mitigate the effects of Peak Oil) and drastically reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)?"
